fun to have around and they are a very good choice for a pet. However, there
are some facts that you need to know about these lovely creatures.

are very good hunters

2- Cats
sleep hours are almost all day!
You
might have noticed how lazy and sleepy your cat looks most of the time. What
you might have not known is that the normal sleeping hours for a cat per day
are 16 hours! This means that cats spend about 70% of their lives sleeping.
That much sleep is a cat's way to store the energy it needs for the next day.

cat is unique
Like
there is a fingerprint or an eyeprint that can differentiate between humans,
cats can be differentiated by their nose prints. Those tiny bumps and ridges on
the cat's nose differ from a cat to another.

Cats cannot taste sweets
Cats
are probably the only mammal that cannot taste sweetness. This is because of a
lack of the genes responsible for tasting sweet things. This applies also to
big cats like lions and tigers.

can give you an orchestra of sounds!
Unlike
dogs, for example, who can make about 10 sounds only, cats can make over a 100
sounds. These creatures truely have a bright future in the singing career!
